Fasciné par la musique et le corps humain depuis son plus jeune âge, Philippe Poirier commence ses études en danse au Cégep Saint-Laurent en 2004. Il poursuit son apprentissage à l’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, où il sort diplômé en 2010. Il danse maintenant pour Emmanuel Jouthe (Cinq Humeurs et Écoute pour voir), Tedd Robinson (Fable et Trembleherd Bell) et Ottawa Dance Directive; il est aussi membre d’Atypique – Le Collectif, dans lequel il tient le rôle de directeur des répétitions et archiviste artistique.

Fascinated by music and the human body even at a very young age, Philippe Poirier began his studies in dance at the Cégep Saint-Laurent in 2004. He furthered his professional development at École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, where he graduated in 2010. He is currently dancing for Emmanuel Jouthe (Cinq Humeurs and Écoute pour voir), Tedd Robinson (Fable and Trembleherd Bell) and Ottawa Dance Directive; he is also a member of Atypique – Le Collectif, and currently holds the position of rehearsal director, dramaturge and artistic archivist.
